Bringing More of Fashion Into Modest Dressing

VISORILLA was never created from the idea that beautiful modest fashion does not exist.

It does.

I felt that there was something missing.

What was missing was a gap in between.

For years, I knew the feeling of getting ready for a wedding, Yom Tov, Shabbat or a special occasion

and asking the same question:

What am I going to wear?

I would see dresses I loved in the wider fashion world —

beautiful silhouettes, special fabrics, tailoring, embroidery, eveningwear, new details and current trends —

but they did not always suit the level of modesty I was looking for.

And when I searched within modest fashion, I sometimes found the opposite:

pieces that felt more covered than I personally wanted,

or simply did not have the balance, fit or fashion point of view I was looking for.

I kept feeling there was an entire world in between.

That is where VISORILLA began.

We want to bring more of what makes fashion exciting into clothing designed modestly from the start —

not by taking a finished dress and simply adding fabric to it,

but by allowing modesty to be part of the original idea.

Our purpose is not to define modesty.

Different women, families and communities have different standards,

and what feels right for one woman may not feel right for another.

We respect that completely.

Our goal is not to ask a woman to change the standard that matters to her.

Quite the opposite.

We want her to feel that she does not need to compromise it

in order to find something beautiful, flattering, current and beautifully made.

And for us, modesty itself is something worth celebrating.

We want a woman to put on a VISORILLA dress, look in the mirror and feel wow.

Not wow despite the fact that she is dressed modestly.

Wow because of it.

Because of the elegance.

The presence.

The way a beautiful silhouette can feel powerful without needing to reveal more.
